The Annual Legislative Conference kicks off our much-anticipated advocacy season and provides an opportunity for California Community College advocates to meet with legislators to discuss important policy issues. The conference will be held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel 1230 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.

This year's theme is Advancing our Collective Voice: Effective Advocacy for Equity and Success. We invite you to join us in Sacramento for this important event.
Who Should Attend

The Conference is offered to all California Community College trustees, CEOs, PIOs, faculty, staff, and student leaders interested in advocating for CCCs. The conference will offer attendees an opportunity to:

Learn about important state and federal legislation and policy initiatives

Provide input to help shape statewide policies and the League's federal advocacy agenda

Hear from key members of the California State Legislature and staff

Discover ways to advocate for your college/district in the digital age

The Community College League of California’s (League) Annual Legislative Conference provides an opportunity for California Community College advocates to connect and meet with members of the State Legislature at the start of the advocacy season. Every year, this conference features high-level discussions surrounding hot-topic legislative issues, providing a unique chance for colleges and districts to engage with issue-area experts and state policymakers.
