League 2019 Annual Convention Brings Together Community College Leaders from Across the State

RIVERSIDE, CA – Educational leaders from across the state gather for the Community College League of California’s (League) 2019 Annual Convention, held November 21-23 at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, California. The Annual Convention is an opportunity for the nation’s largest postsecondary education system in the country to convene and share best practices, tools, knowledge, and expertise aimed at increasing the effectiveness of local partnerships and initiatives and strengthening the implementation of statewide policies. This year’s theme, Exploring Possibilities, Discovering Our Successes encourages industry experts and community college leaders to explore new opportunities for the system’s 115 colleges and 2.1 million students, while also discovering how successful services and programs can be expanded and replicated across several California Community College campuses.
As the premier leadership and professional development event for California Community College trustees, CEOs, faculty, administrators and staff, the 2019 Annual Convention offers keynote speakers and sessions to improve student success and completion of degree or transfer.
“California's community colleges have never been more important for the future of this state than they are now. Our colleges represent the exceptional diversity and promise of California and this nation.
