CCC Caucus November Meetings
The California Community Colleges caucuses' fall meetings are on Friday, Nov. 17, concurrent with the Community College League of California’s Annual Convention in Indian Wells. The seven caucus groups will meet separately in the afternoon and conclude the day with a joint caucus meeting from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
All caucus meetings will be at the Renaissance Esmeralda in Indian Wells. Meeting times, locations, agendas, and caucus information follow. Some meetings will also include a hybrid option; Zoom links are included for those meetings that are hosting virtual attendance.

The African American Community College Trustees and Administrators Association (AACCTA), also known as "the Black Caucus"

The Black Caucus represents the interests of African American students, faculty, classified professionals, administrators, and trustees in the California Community College system. The Black Caucus welcomes any person or educational institution whose values and ideologies align with that of the Caucus, and shares interest in and supports the mission, values, and goals of the Caucus.

California Association of Latino Community College Trustees and Administrators (CALCCTA)

CALCCTA represents Latino populations at California's community colleges. The meeting will include initial findings from recent executive interviews, a critical step that reflects our dedication to making CALCCTA more responsive and relevant to our members' needs.
LGBTQ+ Caucus Annual Business Meeting

The LGBTQ+ Caucus will elect its 2023-2025 officers and ratify bylaws amendments. Additionally, we will seek member input on priorities to support leadership and professional development, advocacy, and for creating community. All are welcome to attend.

California Community College Veterans Caucus (CCCVC) Annual Meeting

Our meeting is open to everyone; you do not need to be a veteran. We encourage broad participation from those who wish to support our mission, as [we are]… “committed to providing a strong voice and representing California’s community colleges to promote the welfare of veterans through effective legislation; and, encouraging veterans to participate fully at all levels of policy-making and public service.”
At the 2023 Annual Meeting, CCCVC will be reviewing its bylaws, receiving updates on topics of interest from our VRC Regional Organizations, a legislative update, and information from the CCCCO system office. We will conclude with a transfer of authority to the next executive committee.

Asian American Pacific Islander Trustees & Administrators Caucus (AAPITA)

AAPITA is a coalition of Asian American Pacific Islander Trustees and Administrators that serves to enhance educational opportunities for AAPI community college students and professional development and mentorship opportunities for AAPI Trustees and Administrators.
We will discuss:
- Election of 2024 Officers
- Joint Resolution denouncing SCOTUS Decision on Affirmative Action
- Establishing Trustee and Administrators Emeritus Membership
- Legislative Advocacy
- Lunar New Year

CCC Women’s Caucus (CCCWC) Annual Meeting

The CCCWC will introduce new Executive Board Members and Officers and provide updates to the by-laws. We will also recognize the service of leaders from 2022-2023. We will discuss professional growth opportunities, including our Empowerment Series, Member Mentorship, Legislative Advocacy Workshop, and others. The CCCWC welcomes new members who are interested in advocating for change and policies that will advance opportunities and achieve equity for women across California Community Colleges.
